Machine Moving and Rigging
When the time comes to relocate or install an industrial plant and machinery, you want to be sure that everything goes according to plan and no harm comes to your expensive equipment. This is when it's time to call on the services of Southwest Industrial Rigging. With over thirty years of servicing industries in Arizona, Southwest Industrial Rigging has the machinery, teams, and experience you need to get your move done safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Machine moving is a specialized skill. In most situations, access is limited and dedicated machinery is needed to lift and move heavy equipment. In many instances, it's inadvisable to break large machinery down into smaller pieces because the cost and time required to reassemble the equipment is excessive. A example of this would be automated manufacturing machinery and heavy duty stamping presses. Southwest Industrial Rigging's highly skilled teams are trained for just these situations. Their heavy-duty rollers, specialized lifting equipment, and jacks are ideal for relocating large, cumbersome equipment from one location to another. Every job is carefully assessed to identify what is needed for a safe, risk-free move. Employee and machine safety come first every time.
Lifting and Rigging
Because access is often tight, Southwest Industrial Rigging employs a fleet of truck-mounted boom cranes with lifting capacities of up to 40 tons to raise, position and move heavy machinery and equipment. The industrial rigging section is staffed by fully qualified and licensed riggers who are trained to assess the best way to perform each move safely. If needed, the company has a fleet of hydraulic truck cranes with lifting capacities reaching 120 tons that can be used to reach into inaccessible locations to hoist and position heavy machinery. For really heavy lifts, the lattice beam crawler cranes can lift loads approaching 250 tons, depending upon the reach that's required.
Southwest Industrial Rigging is available 24/7 to tackle all machine moving and relocation operations, especially for those that are on a tight schedule. The teams arrange their work to suit your schedule and are available at short notice. Additionally, the heavy transport fleet means that the company can handle your entire machine moving operation in-house without the need to subcontract work. If you are planning to move your plant or install new equipment, contact our nearest office and discus your industrial rigging and machine moving requirements with our fully trained specialists.
